Count birds through your window. What shapes do you see? What colors?

Go to a window and look out. Is it raining? Is it cloudy?

Look out the window for as long as you want (5-10 minutes) and count all the birds you see.

Look at the shapes and colors in the birds. Try to notice if some shapes and colors are more common than others.

Draw the birds using the colors and shapes that you saw in them. Your drawing doesn’t need to be perfect, just try to get it as close as possible to the bird you’re thinking of.

If you want, keep track of the birds you see. You can keep them in a book. See how many of each you have, and which ones you see the most often.
BONUS! How many birds can you count on this page?
