Our Bronze Award project in 2022 was to create School Supply Shacks to make free school supplies easily available to all students, regardless of their family resources. We continue stocking the Shacks with supplies from the Bloomington Public Schools official supply list. Our troop has also been storing these supplies in a separate location so that we have been able to restock the Shacks monthly throughout the whole school year, and hopefully will continue to be able to for years to come. We created an Amazon wishlist with these items so that the community can donate to help keep the projects stocked.
